REALTORS® spend a lot of time in their cars. For many, it’s their second office. With so much driving time, sometimes the same old listening routine gets boring.
To help out we’ve curated a 2023 edition of the Ultimate Playlist for REALTORS®. Our playlist includes songs about houses, hometowns, and songs that describe that feeling of home.
Next time you’re out on the road, try these on for size.

1. The last great american dynasty – Taylor Swift
“Holiday house sat quietly on that beach | Free of women with madness, their men and bad habits | And then it was bought by me.”
The ultimate song about a house, Taylor Swift’s the last great american dynasty tells the (mostly) true story of Swift’s Rhode Island home and the life of Rebekah Harkness.
2. Home – HAIM
“When everything felt so wrong | It led me to where I belong | So now | I’m goin’ home | Take me home, just take me home | Take me home.”
You may have heard this one at the blockbuster of the summer, Barbie. Get your kennergy going with this one.
3. Castle on the Hill – Ed Sheeran
“And I’ve not seen the roaring fields in so long, I know I’ve grown | But I can’t wait to go home.”
Ed Sheeran wrote this romantic tune about his hometown back in 2017. So, the next time you’re driving along country roads on the way to a showing, consider you might be introducing the next ‘Ed Sheeran’ their inspiration for a future hit song!
4. Home – BTS
“You know I want that ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-home.”
Internationally famous South Korean boy band BTS released this English/Korean jam in 2019. Perfect for a DIY car karaoke session!
5. Hometown Glory – Adele
“’Round my hometown | Memories are fresh | ‘Round my hometown | Ooh the people I’ve met.”
Now a household name, Adele released Hometown Glory on her debut album 19 back in 2008.
6. Homesick – Dua Lipa
“It’s a bittersweet feeling | Longing, and I’m leaving | I go, I go, I go.”
Whether you have a place or a person in mind, we’re sure everyone can relate to Dua Lipa’s account of what ‘home’ means to her in this song that’s perfect for a rainy day on the roads.
7. Home (Frozen II Outtake) – Kristen Bell
“I’m grateful for this castle | And for everything we’ve got | Especially my family | We’ve all been through a lot.”
If you either have kids or are a Disney fan yourself, you may think you’re up to date on the Frozen II soundtrack. But have you heard this outtake that Anna (Kristen Bell) sings about her home of Arendelle? This uplifting song is sure to please all listeners, no matter their age.
8. Come Back Home – Arkells
The Arkells released Come Back Home back in 2015 as a part of their hit album Morning Report. Bonus points: they’re Canadian!
9. Home – Daughtry
“Well, I’m going home | Back to the place where I belong.”
This throwback song from 2006 by American Idol contestant Chris Daughtry reminds us of the importance in finding the right home for clients, where they feel they belong.
10. It’s My House – Diana Ross
“There’s my chair | I put it there | Everything you see | Is with love and care.”
Released in 1979, this warm song is great to get you in the mood to make your house a home!
