Cannabis Grow Operations
Cannabis grow operations may seem like they belong on TV crime dramas, but reality places them much closer to home. Today in Canada, drugs are being cultivated and manufactured behind the facades of any type of building REALTORS® might encounter during regular business. They pose both potential health and safety risks, not to mention significant legal and ethical responsibilities.

A Homeowner’s Guide to Radon

CREA worked collaboratively with Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) to produce A Homeowner’s Guide to Energy Efficiency, a publication aimed at providing buyers and sellers with useful information about energy efficiency upgrades they can make to their homes.
The Homeownership Dividend for Canadians
The notion homeownership creates advantages for families and individuals is not new. The benefits of owning a home have been the subject of numerous surveys, analysis, and research for decades.
While Canadians may be familiar with the financial benefits—homes provide a chance for owners to build equity and are a major source of wealth for millions of households across the country—they may not be as familiar with the non-financial benefits of homeownership. These include a wide array of civic, educational, health, and socio-cultural benefits to one’s family and the broader society.
By examining data and research from Canada, the United States, Europe, and elsewhere around the world, CREA has authored The Homeownership Dividend for Canadians showcasing the contributing factors to, and outcomes of, the widespread positive effects of homeownership.
Nanos Consumer Survey
CREA and Nanos Research conducted a survey to gauge consumer sentiment and overall satisfaction around working with a REALTOR®. The goal was to learn more about what factors consumers cite for choosing to enlist the help of a REALTOR®, as well as why they would choose not to.
