CREA Builds on Success of National Ad Campaign: ‘Welcome Home’

As crooner Luther Vandross once sang, “A house is not a home.”

As a REALTOR®, you know that.

When you’re helping your client during their homeownership journey, you know your client doesn’t just see an updated kitchen. They see a kitchen they can update their skills in.

As a REALTOR®, you don’t just help Canadians find a house, you help them find a home.

Following the success of our  national ad campaign “Welcome Home”, CREA relaunched the campaign on Monday, October 3. We’re excited to be working with No Fixed Address, our new advertising agency, to expand the reach of our “Welcome Home” campaign with re-imagined creatives and additional marketing tactics.

“Welcome Home” is a celebration of the sentiment surrounding a “home”—not just four walls, but the place you’ll live out some of life’s most cherished moments. A REALTOR® provides the knowledge, dedication, and expertise for clients looking for a home to fit their life stage, not just a house that’s well staged.

The “Welcome Home” campaign had great recall, strong appeal and impact: after seeing this ad, most of the respondents said they are more likely to use the services of a REALTOR®.

As your national association, CREA works to strengthen and amplify what it means to be a REALTOR® and the value of using one. In addition to the national ad campaign, CREA champions REALTORS® through awareness, education, and furthering excellence in the profession to build brand equity and support REALTORS®’ business needs.

This campaign includes a wider mix of media platforms, new creatives, and innovative initiatives to extend the reach of our message.

What’s new this fall?

The campaign continues to increase awareness on the value of working with a REALTOR® when buying or selling a property.

The campaign will target both repeat and first-time home buyers using television, digital videos, social media, and digital display ads, as well as billboards and bus shelter ads in major markets.

Chris Peters is a passionate and hard-working REALTOR® and industry volunteer with more than 11 years of experience. Chris acquired strong leadership, communication and organizational skills while working within telecom management for more than 15 years. Over the last six years, Chris has served in various roles on the Nova Scotia Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors, as well as on numerous committees at the provincial and national level.
