Cost-Effective Training with CREA’s Brokerage Hub

REALTORS® provide immense value to their clients with their deep real estate knowledge and expertise, but it’s crucial to stay current as our industry evolves.

To help with this, the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) has recently launched a learning hub for brokerages looking to enhance their team’s professional development.

The Brokerage Hub allows brokerages to take advantage of CREA’s top-of-the-line Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver specific learning plans for their team, at a fraction of what this type of technology typically costs.

Below we break down some of the features you can expect as a Brokerage Hub subscriber:

Brokerage-specific courses

With the Brokerage Hub you can create courses specific to your brokerage. The platform supports eLearning, in-person, and webinar delivery options.

Create your own learning paths

With your own courses or programs distributed through CREA, you can create tailored learning paths for members of your brokerage to complete. For example, you can set learning paths up to focus on areas like FINTRAC training, new member onboarding, technology, compliance training, or marketing.

View team progress with reports

Within the Brokerage Hub, you will identify a course manager who can see where each team member is with their progress and completion for national, provincial, local and brokerage courses via a reports dashboard. Use this information to inform decisions about which courses you assign, create, or remind team members about.

Download certificates

Demonstrate your progress internally and to clients with certificates. The Brokerage Hub allows you to share this information to highlight participation and knowledge in the subject studied.

Set up email notifications for your team

Notify them when they need to complete a course, when a new course or path is added, and send reminders so they don’t miss out on any offerings.

Team engagement via gamification

Team members will be able to see a leaderboard for who’s participating the most and enjoy other interactive elements that make the learning experience more enjoyable.

For more information on adding the Brokerage Hub to your team, brokerages should reach out to Mike Lomond (mlomond@CREA.ca), CREA’s Learning Management System Manager.
