For the third year in a row, we will have the RCMP patrolling our booth. This great Canadian icon is always a fan favorite. Drop by for a firm handshake or a photo op. Bring your cameras or smart phones and don’t forget to smile!
Join us as we celebrate the land of sun and tequila
Over the last decade, the number of Canadians living in Mexico soared from 6,000 to 75,000, according to figures from Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (INEGI) and the Canadian Embassy in Mexico. The number of Canadians in Mexico is expected to climb as baby boomers reach retirement and many will likely choose to make a home in the various regions of Mexico due to the warmer climate and a more affordable cost of living.
In order to celebrate this great collaboration between our two countries, the CREA booth will be hosting a special event open to all REALTORS® from Canada and Mexico on Sunday, November 10 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Come and meet REALTORS® from the different regions of Mexico. Share your ideas and learn about their culture and how real estate transactions are processed in Mexico. Bring an open mind, lots of business cards and practice your “Hola!”
Both countries will also be showcasing local delicacies. I even heard a rumor that there may be tequila involved (hold the worm please!). We hope to see you there!
