While it may still be summer, the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) is gearing up for three key events this fall. Here’s all the info you need to attend.
Political Action Committee (PAC) Days
Since 1985, CREA’s annual PAC Days conference has brought REALTORS® from across Canada to our nation’s capital to meet with their local Members of Parliament (MPs) and advocate for policies that encourage access to housing for all Canadians, from emergency shelter to subsidized housing to social housing and homeownership.
The three-day conference features prominent politicians, political insiders and journalists who know a thing or two about politics and the inner workings of Parliament Hill.
This year’s event will be held from October 20 to 22, 2024 at The Westin Ottawa.
A room block has been secured at The Westin Ottawa, where rooms must be booked before September 17, 2024. An additional room block has been secured at The Fairmont Château Laurier, where rooms must be booked before September 19, 2024.
Special General Meeting (SGM) on Future of REALTOR.ca
Immediately following PAC Days 2024 on Wednesday, October 23, CREA will be seeking a final vote on whether to move forward with REALTOR.ca as a taxable entity during a Special General Meeting (SGM). This event will also be at The Westin Ottawa.
While there’s no fee to attend, all observers and voting delegates must be registered using our online registration system. This will be an in-person event only.
National Association of REALTORS® (NAR)
From November 8 to 10, 2024, real estate professionals from around the world will be gathering in Boston, Massachusetts for the annual National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) conference.
With industry-leading speakers, expert education, and networking opportunities with more than 15,000 attendees, CREA is excited to return to the NAR NXT, The REALTOR® Experience.
CREA has arranged a block of hotel rooms at the Boston Marriott Copley Place for REALTORS® from Canada.
