Katelyn Penstone is a policy analyst with Health Canada’s National Radon Program, working to reduce Canadians’ exposure to radon, the No. 1 cause of lung cancer for non-smokers. Previously, Katelyn worked as a communications officer and digital communications advisor with Health Canada’s Communications and Public Affairs Branch providing digital communications advice and support for Canada.ca. Katelyn has 10 years of experience working as a communications professional in the private sector before she became a public servant. She graduated from MacEwan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Psychology.
