As a not-for-profit organization, it’s required by law for the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) to share its financials with membership. Each year, we take this opportunity to demonstrate transparency and accountability while also looking back on the achievements, lessons, and highlights from the previous year in our annual report.
REALTORS® are at the heart of everything we do, and our strategic plan provides an overview of how we, as a national association, achieve our mission and uphold our values.
As a snapshot of our success, the annual report allows us to compile data (including financial reports) that we’ll use to inform decision-making going forward.
In 2022, we celebrated the following:
- Our “Welcome Home” ad campaign exceeded our projected targets delivering 341.7 million digital impressions.
- We hosted our fourth annual REALTORS Care® Week in partnership with 35 real estate boards and associations across the country.
- In addition to generating 5.7 million leads for REALTORS®, REALTOR.ca reached a milestone of more than 50% market share* nationally for the first time.
- More than 400 PAC reps gathered for the 37th annual PAC Days, where we hosted more than 130 meetings with Members of Parliament.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg!
In 2022, we made great strides in strengthening cooperation among REALTORS®, creating unique partnerships—both with boards/associations and technology companies—to enhance REALTOR.ca, and we laid the groundwork towards our environmental, social and governance commitments.
