There’s nothing like REALTOR.ca in Canada. Owned and operated by CREA on behalf of REALTORS®, REALTOR.ca is a shining example of what happens when we all work together (“we” meaning REALTORS®, local boards, franchisors, provincial/territorial associations and CREA).
According to the 2021 REALTOR.ca Insights Report, REALTOR.ca saw a whopping 516 million visits (up 38% from 2020) from more than 111 million visitors.

It’s hard to deny the power of REALTOR.ca—the platform is a market leader when it comes to all activity on real estate websites, with:
- Nearly 50% market share[1];
- 53% visitor growth in 2021[2] (compared to the overall online Canadian real estate landscape’s 13% visitor growth[3]); and
- Eight of the top 10 real estate advertising websites in Canada are using REALTOR.ca DDF®, sending more than 650,000 leads to REALTORS® in 2021[4].
It’s safe to say, most Canadians will likely include REALTOR.ca as part of their real estate search.
What does this mean for you? REALTOR.ca is one of the most important marketing tools in your arsenal. Every interaction with a consumer is an opportunity to communicate the true value of using a REALTOR® to buy or sell a home. Most importantly, every REALTOR.ca visitor is a possible lead for you.
Tip: Stand out with your REALTOR.ca profile. Make sure your profile is complete in your local MLS® System. Your photo, email, phone number, website, social accounts, profile video and additional details* are essential and entice potential clients to connect with you. *Fields vary by board and association
Speaking of leads, more than 6.2 million leads were sent to REALTORS® through “Email a REALTOR®”, “Email Office”, “Phone a REALTOR®” and REALTOR.ca DDF® partner sites in 2021.
If you’re not receiving email leads from REALTOR.ca, confirm your preferred email address in your local MLS® System. If that’s not the issue, take a quick look in your junk folder—if you see something from REALTOR.ca, flag it as “Not Spam”.
While leads continue to increase, volume is not our primary goal. Our focus is improving the quality of leads sent to members. We want to help make more meaningful connections between you and potential clients.
